Pretend Friend is a touring bluegrass band from Wichita, KS. With origins in rock and roll, Pretend Friend melds the timeless sentiments of traditional melodies with striking lyrics, memorable hooks, and quick picking. Pretend Friend pushes the possibilities of a trio, and they create a dynamic live experience laced with emotive harmonies and improvised jamming. We are honored to welcome back Tallgrass Express String Band for your listening pleasure during Happy Hour from 6pm-7pm

With lyrical vocals and classic string band style, this group will take you to a world of stunning landscapes, western romance and humor, skilled cowboys and spunky cowgirls, runaway horses, Indian buffalo hunts, old trail days, and lovely prairie walks among native birds, mammals, grasses and wildflowers.

River Suite, a Chase County Chamber of Commerce fundraiser, is an unforgettable Flint Hills experience held annually!

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, September 25, on the historic Cottonwood River Bridge overlooking the waterfall in downtown Cottonwood Falls. Surrounded by the unforgettable jewel tones of a Kansas sunset, guests will be drawn to the white peaked tents and the aroma of a well-mastered selection of Flint Hills inspired delicacies inviting the senses to partake in the breathtaking experience of fine dining on the charming bridge.

This magical event will kick off with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m., the feature concert will begin at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the captivating evening are $75 ; Tables of six or eight may also be procured for this memorable event.

Tickets are non-refundable. In case of inclement weather the event will be held at the community building at Swope Park in Cottonwood Falls.

River Suite is an unforgettable Flint Hills experience. The event is held annually on the historic bridge overlooking the waterfall in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. Enjoy fine dining and live music accompanied by the song of the cascading Cottonwood River.  Diners can relax in the cool shade under white-peaked tents, listening to the murmur of the falls and basking in the glow of a glorious Flint Hills sunset.
