Pioneer Bluffs announces the Fall Festival for 2013 which will be held on October 5 from 2 pm until dark.
More than 400 visitors regularly attend this annual fall festival at historic Pioneer Bluffs near Matfield Green. This year’s event will be even bigger – the Festival will feature a fireworks extravaganza!
Some of the Activities include: Antique tractor Show and car show, quilt exhibit , art show, old-time games, petting zoo, demonstrations by spinners and weavers, music by area bands, and hog roast with locally grown food.
On October 4th there will be a gala to benefit Pioneer Bluffs called “Flavors of the Flint Hills”. This unique event will be held in downtown Cottonwood Falls at the Symphony in the Flint Hills “banquet Hall.” northwest of the historic Chase County Courthouse. Please check the website for information about the gala and the Best Pie in the Flint Hills contest. The pies will be served at the Flavors of the Flint Hills gala.
