Enjoy one of the Eight Wonders of Kansas Customs in the heart of the scenic Flint Hills! Every FIRST & THIRD Fridays, 7:30-9:30pm – a Jam Session & Open Mike for local and visiting musicians playing traditional music. Public is welcome – Family friendly. Location: INSIDE at the lovely Prairie PastTimes store of Flint Hills Arts & Crafts – 220 1/2 Broadway. Or, weather permitting, OUTSIDE in front of Symphony in the Flint Hills, 331 Broadway in beautiful downtown Cottonwood Falls near the historic Chase County Courthouse.
All Sessions are acoustic-instruments only except occasional Classic Rock-n-Roll & Vintage Country Night by announcement-when electric are welcome also. Other special events (5th Fridays) may be announced.
Symphony in the Flint Hills

Through year-round programming, Symphony in the Flint Hills, Inc. celebrates the history, ecology and culture of the last stand of native Tallgrass Prairie through music and place-based education. The organization is best known for its Signature Event each June when 7,000 kindred spirits gather for a world-class symphony concert in an unmatched prairie setting.
The store offers a wide variety of t-shirts, sweatshirts, hiking sticks, field journals, artwork, books, and gifts.
